Emergency Medical Consulting is owned and operated by Mike Caffrey. Mike has been an Emergency Medical Technician and CPR Instructor since 1990. He spentfive years working in New York City's 911 system as an EMT. In 1994 he became an American Heart Association Instructor Trainer and sits on the CPR comittees of the NYC Regional Emergency Medical Services Council and Beth Israel Medical Center. He set up BIMC's AHA Community Training Center in 1998 and was selected as tone of the regions first 16 instructors for the AHA's Hearsaver AED rollout program.
Emergency Medical Consulting uses a combination of EMT's, Nurses, Wilderness Professionals and even an professional actor! All instructors are monitored by Mike Caffrey for accuracy of information an effective communication. All of the instructors are respectful of the clients time by arriving promptly and staying focused in practice groups. Classes never run past their scheduled end time.
All manakins are Laerdal Resuci Annie Skillmeter Manakins which are the most realistic and highest quality manakins. The manakin faces and disposable lungs are replaced after each class. The AED trainers are made by Hewlett Packard Heartstream and Physio Control.
